The Region 3 Healthcare Preparedness Network is pleased to offer four courses to support the professional development needs of hospital, public health, first responders and other emergency services partners within our region. Program content was designed and implemented under a contract with our regional training services provider, Comprehensive Emergency Management Associates, LLC.

ACC (Acute/Alternative Care Center) Trailer Operations The following topics will be covered in this course: ACC Trailer Purpose ACC Trailer Locations ACC Trailer Contents Requesting an ACC Trailer ACC Trailer Mobilization ACC Trailer Demobilization Target Audience: Hospitals, Public Health, Emergency Management, Medical Control Authorities and EMS Supervisors. Estimated time requirement: 2 hours MCI (Mass Casualty Incident) Trailer Operations The following topics will be covered in this course: MCI Trailer Purpose MCI Trailer Locations MCI Trailer Contents Requesting a MCI Trailer MCI Trailer Mobilization MCI Trailer Demobilization Target Audience: Hospitals, Public Health, Emergency Management, Medical Control Authorities and EMS Supervisors. Estimated time requirement: 2 hours Region 3 MCC (Medical Coordination Center) Operations The following topics will be covered in this course: R3MCC Background R3MCC Disaster Response Support, including procedures for activating (mobilizing), interfacing with, and deactivating (demobilizing) the R3MCC. R3MCC Training and Exercise Support R3MCC Inventory Target Audience: Hospitals, Medical Control Authorities and EMS Estimated time requirement: 1 hours Region 3 Radio Systems Operation The following topics will be covered in this course: Understand radio vocabulary terms Understand proper radio (speaking) etiquette Understand steps you can take for better radio performance Understand the concept of interoperability Understand the basic controls and operation of the portable radios commonly found in Region 3.
